Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

Very cool.. but of course you have to learn a bit but cool ideas..
adding maps/reviews/content to email or mappign craigs list
pretty cool this ad on is like a lot of mashup sites, but built into firefox.

but rememeber this is prebeta.. so it is buggy and crappy and all that.. it is just a view of what things can and will be.

probably should rephrase that last part.

buggy and crappy part.. doesn't seem very buggy.(sometimes slow). and definitely not crappy, It's freaken awesome. I think that everyone will use something like this soon. You really will wonder how you did many things like email, craiglist, blogged.. w/e without this.. it just keeps seeming cooler and cooler the more I use it. I'm constantly impressed.
don't be afraid of the pre-beta and you have to force yourself to remember to use it now and then.. but it's very cool
there are problems I forsee with advertising... when we can mine all the info and tools we want, where we want.. how do services make money?
